Stop by Mars Cafe on Tuesday, November 24 from 8-10 a.m. for the very first Social Media Breakfast in Des Moines! The vision of Social Media Breakfasts (originally created by Bryan Person) is to "bring together people who are interested in teaching, sharing, and learning about trends, case studies, and best practices in social media. This educational focus is critical for moving the social media industry forward."

The conversation topic of Des Moines' first SMB will be the future of mobile technology, and how it applies to social media applications, marketing and specific industries such as retail, health care and agriculture. Panelists will include Dennis Dohrmann, manager of data sales for Verizon Wireless (in Iowa), and Daniel Shipton and Neil Roberts from Bitmethod. The discussion will be moderated by Nathan T. Wright of Lava Row. This is meant to be a participatory event so please bring your questions and insights!
